➜ All Of This Can Be Broken
Well, Amazon has sold the last of their copies of All Of This Can Be Broken, which means that the book is now officially out of print. AOTCBB had a really good run, finding a home in the collections of Booklet Library in Tokyo and the Indie Photobook Library in Washington, D.C. (as well as in several other libraries, institutions, and private collections). I even got a chance to travel around a bit and give talks about the book and the photos I make, which was just phenomenally fun.
For example, at one of the talks, I may have said (out loud) that I didn’t really believe in Art, explaining further that I have a hard time with concepts as vague and dependent on tradition and authority (or, alternatively, modern whims and trends) as “Art” seems to be. Immediately thereupon, the electricity in the whole building just went out completely. Even funnier, the whole audience went “Oooo-ooooooh,” like they thought I was in trouble with the Art gods or something. Which, maybe I was?
In any case, so that I can clear the decks here at the studio to gear up for several exciting new projects this summer, the last ten signed copies of AOTCBB I have here on a shelf are available to purchase through my website for $20 plus $5 s/h to U.S. addresses (PM for Int’l postage). Thanks so much for all your support over the last few years - I appreciate your interest in my work immensely. Thank you!
